I also used to be in love with these female-fronted eclectic pop-punk-noise such as Midori or Melt-Banana. Not a maniac anymore but I enjoy them albums from time to time. |
I still like all the Melt-Banana records I own. I missed the chance to see them about a decade ago because the girl I was dating at the time wanted to go see some psychobilly fruitcake shit.... _________________ http://www.last.fm/user/ngadke |

I can get what the OP is trying to say here. I suppose that same appeal brought me into both BM and Japanese stuff. I used to giggle at both initially, but it was a good thing and I eventually became obsessed with both during various periods. I do find it annoying how much people sweat Japanese stuff in particular though, as if its automatically good, or better than whatever other band withing the genre. in most cases the stuff is just ultimate tributes, and they play the fashion end of music particularly well. still, peoples obsession can be very weird and almost fetish like or something.
My favorite part about Japanese anything are those great OBI strips
oh and Corrupted is honestly an all time favorite of mine. I spent a few years piecing together that (almost) complete discography. still need the live sloth split if anyone wants to sell that for a semi reasonable price its the final missing link for my collection. either pressing is fine for me _________________ trade-want list/available list- http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20339 |

This is listed as "Promo '96" in Metal Archives, apparently one of the first HURUSOMA releases. I don't know about those releases on Zero Dimensional but this project is dead as far as I know. Maybe some unreleased tracks (I guess he wanted to put out an album with that demo in 2000, which contains the best HURUSOMA tracks IMO, available on the Sombre Iconoclasm compilation CD) |

| I love S.O.B and dig Sigh, Sabbat (to an extent) and maybe a few others. Defiled's ep is actually real good death metal. |
