Well i wouldnt compare those two bands actually, cause NC as i got was project with very limited musical concept from begining, and this "response" that them got was really unexpected... and so on, and on 2nd album them already explanded it(wasnt there tracks of Mors Dalos Ra included).. and i really appreciate decision that 3rd album would be final one... i mean i have nothing against theirs music, and i really like it, but as i got this band suppoused to have very strong musical boundaries, and 3 albums is more then enough.
While Drowned doesnt have those limitations, and i cannot deny that i probably like it more... but at other hand as i said i dont think that it is right to compare those projects |

Is it really Mors Dalos Ra on vocals? To my ears the vocals sound different and the signature ("T / G / T") at their website suggests that he isn't. Not that it matters too much as the vocals sound good as is. |
No, Mors Dalos Ra is no longer in Drowned coven. He wants to concentrate fully on making the next NC opus. That Bassist, G.ST, from Essenz is the vocalist as well.
Ps. Tlmnn just left NC to concentrate fully on Drowned.

Don't hold your breath. As I understood the recording of the full-length doesn't start until the end of this year. If only 2013 were over already.

Sounds reasonable and kinda guessed this myself too. Maybe this will undermine the constant, and pointless, comparisons between NC and Drowned.

I like Drowned but NC never really clicked with me.

I understand why the two bands get compared, but I really don't think a comparison between the bands should be made since they don't have the same main songwriters. But if I have to compare them, I would probably choose Drowned. If I was basing this simply on Necros Christos's demos, I might have had more trouble deciding.

It would have been nice to get the album in 2013, 20 years after the first demo. But these two songs will ease the anxiety to some degree. |
