Yes, the Nidaros scene has without doubt contributed with some good bands. Also there are some not-so-good projects under the Nidaros banner, as in any scene by the way. Luckily there is more quality coming from Norway if you avoid the Nidaros "hype" going on.
Too make a conclusion to this poll: The winner is Scandinavia! Norden über alles!

Innocent mistake and not incredibly important. Sargeist is good despite me accidentally including them in a list of Norwegian bands.

Obviously so. Whoever has a brain that works and isn't completely deaf should be able to see the immense talent of Norway's finest bands and their clear importance in shaping post '92 stuff -metal just hasn't been the same since Darkthrone made it big. OT, that's pretty much the mental age of the average Italian metal fan, it's all about retarded gossipping, "show up at that show if you dare" and similar nonsense there. The bad reputation of the country is a direct consequence of the immature and juvenile approach most italians display when confronted with valid points -which is well documented by the guy's posts in this very same thread. I believe the lack of votes for Italy has something to do with it as well.
