there's a rumour about debut album of Cultes Des Ghoules entitled "Haxan". Album is probably recorded and waiting for release(which should take place in the fall of 2008).

As far as I'm aware, they're on Barbarian Wrath and the debut album is called The House At The Water.

This is Cultes De Goules (No H). Different band. Check MA.

One of the very few releases I'm REALLY looking forward to. It feels like Cultes Des Ghoules hasn't shot its bolt yet and after the awesome The Angel of Poison and Death and the even more venomous Ep I expect nothing but a haunting killer.

Asked FHR about the coming full length recently and here's what he said...

Please don't mislead Polish CDG with this funny german band. CULTES DES GHOULES plays Black Metal in old way. Everyone eager for bands like Necromantia, Mortuary Drape, (old) Mayhem, Beherit, Goatlord or Tormentor should check upcoming album >>> 5 trax>> 55 min>>> HAXAN>>> Fall of 2008 >>> Under the Sign of Garazel/Flagellum Haereticorum rex.

You know what...I didn't realize there were two different bands.

In that case, I have the 7" and I think it's great, especially the A side.

the Haxan cd is an excellent release. Totally black & ritualistic, I haven't heard anything like this in a long time

The Odd Spirituality EP, and Haxan were both awesome. It really sounds nothing like Bestial Raids, or Doombringer, the new stuff is amazing as well.

100% agreed; there's a real darkness around while it plays!

I have yet to hear the Polish band, but I like the German one quite a bit. Deffinately not for every one, like a lot of BW bands. I've heard a lot of praise for the Polish one though, so I should probably get around to checking them out.
