Slow Deep and Hard, but everything up to and including World Coming Down is great. The newer stuff was OK judging by the couple of albums i actually bought/checked out, but not quite up to par with their classic material.

World Coming Down for me. This is quite possibly the most depressing album of all time, as well as the heaviest. Everything Dies is still my favorite song of theirs. Of course the title track is mind blowingly epic and the chorus of All Hallows Eve is brilliant.

Truly a unique band and one that is sadly missed by me.

October Rust. I love all of their albums but October Rust has some of the best songs, plus that Neil Young cover

My pick too. Maybe other albums have better tracks, but the entire atmosphere of "October Rust" - just magical.

Does anyone prefer "The Origin of the Feces" over "Slow, Deep and Hard"? I don't, just curious.

I prefer that version of Gravity, and wish they re-recorded the entire song in that heavier vain.

Recently went back to Life is Killing Me and forgot about this gem haha:

I do. I like the production, arrangements and attitude more, and the fake live show setting of it cracks me up.

Have to pick World Coming Down as my fave, probably one of the most depressing albums ever made. Though i do enjoy all of their stuff.

It's a shame because they were just about to start writing/recording music for the next album when Peter passed.

Also, October Rust is 20 today.

No doubt. I remember buying it the day it came out. Wow!

'Suspended in Dusk' is probably the best song

Was just out touring for two weeks with my buddy's band; Bloody Kisses became the night driving record. Completely hooked on Type O now. Tracking down all their material still, so I can vote just yet.

"Dead Again" is not their best but definitely their most disturbing and thought-provoking. Bunch of complex, terrifying dark masterpieces on that record. It did not surprise me to hear that Pete did not make it to the next album. RIP you fucking giantman genius.
