We probably only know the tip of the iceberg and I can't even imagine how many CD-only releases we're missing out on... |

Chainsaw. Got their Nothing Will Change... EP for free awhile back. Probably won't blow your mind, but it's pretty good 90's/early 2000's hc.

SDS are a huge favorite of mine, along with Confuse, Gloom, Lip Cream, Gauze, The Stalin, Disclose, Nightmare, everything from the Eye of the Thrash Guerilla LP and Bastard.
I also really liked Selfish and a band that they did a split with called Liberate on HGt Fact. Great EP! I'm sure there are a thousand I've neglected. Stalin is #1 for me though.
I always really liked Battle of Disarm too... _________________ http://www.last.fm/user/ngadke |

| S.O.B., G.I.S.M., Gauze, and The Stalin are my favorites. I definitely need to explore the Japanese hardcore scene more. |

The St Requiem tape is ace! |
And how! It already displays traces of the, for lack of a more appropriate term, post-punk development Sodom would eventually undergo, particularly in the album's overall cold, detached sound, while at its core still being a straight hardcore punk album. It's quite a unique sound; early Sodom always were, in my opinion, a band which could've easily made their way as one of nowaday's Bone Awl-ish bands (albeit ineffably superior to most of the bands playing this style). |
