Bathory's "pace til death": the 'neener neener neener' guitar riff

That is absolutely the worst. Laughing Laughing Great example of a really stupid/boneheaded decision.

Agreed. Literally the only blemish on that album in my opinion.

Absolutely. It'd be a perfect album otherwise. What a fucking stupid decision. The only thing I can think is that in the midst of recording the guitar track, he suddenly remembered "Teacher's Pet".

Possibly, although Quorthon always maintained he wasn't into Venom... which doesn't seem like the truth...

His former bandmates seem to see it differently. Quorthon was infamously one of the biggest bullshitters in metal.

Biggest WTF moment must be:

The chorus in "Heaviest in Town" from the Russian band Kruiz on their 1988 album. I laughed my ass off when i first heard this. Great album though.

Can't find the song but definitely had one of these when I heard Graveland use part of the Twin Peaks theme.

Destruction. I forget the song but it's got that piece of "in the mood". Not great. Oh and the mork from ork comments on Highway To Hell. What were you thinking Bon?
