it's a re-master of the re-recorded remaster.
if you liked the 2012 re-recording 'Quintessence' this is the ultimate sounding version you can get.

I noticed they do not intend to re-press it, or release the album as a 1LP edition. It also sounds like there will never be a 1999 original sound vinyl edition.

I've just heard of a re-recording of Quintessence, curious to hear but can't find a copy?

Vinyl re-issue of Time is the Sulphur in the Veins of the Saint should be available for order within the next couple of weeks according to Zuckbook. This one is standalone (so without the Blacklodge portion) and has a dedicated lacquer cut.

The "cut up" on Abigor's bandcamp sounds very different to the CD (I don't have the original LP to compare). It takes a lot of the power away from the sound IMO. Drums are pushed up even higher though I won't complain about that as TT is a drum god. The guitars are pushed way down though, almost to the point of being background noise to the drums and bass.

Buying it regardless. Could grow on me in it's full form.

Sucks that the only vinyl pressing of Nachthmynen has such poor sound quality (and shitty art reproduction).

If you like the rest of the early Abigor catalogue I'd suggest keeping an eye out for the Hornix boxset (no clue what kind of price gouging is going on with that now days though...), it looks and sounds great.

It sounds great in the box set version, imo.

The mix is unchanged.

haha, i was going to say. I mean, I love Time...but, yeah, the guitars are kind of quiet and the drums and bass are loud. Great album.

I am very tempted by this.
