| I voted for Totenlieder. It's the most genius record in a totally awesome discography, in my opinion. |

He's recorded three albums with Wolfsmond since 2002; he used to play guitar and sing in Halgadom on the first three albums; and with his ex-wife he recorded two albums for In Acht & Bann (NeoFolk). I am sure he's writing music now as before. |
I see. How come he didn't want to continue with Absurd? _________________ http://www.dissectionforum.dk/ |

| "Der Fünfzehnjährige Krieg" is my favourite record at the moment. Too bad they didn't re-recorded "Germanien über alles" for it. |

That one was recorded during the session for DFK, though. No idea why it was never used by the band thus far... I faintly remember it was supposed to be bonus for the LP but before the vinyl came out, all this "blacklisting" of Absurd-records, in Germany, started all of a sudden and the label (WTC) might have deemed it prudent to don't use that song as to avoid further legal troubles.

He became a true brother of metal, that's why. _________________ Solitary Elitism:

It was just a little bit weird to me since I always had the impression he was the frontman/main songwriter. So he's basically turned his back on the ideology? _________________ http://www.dissectionforum.dk/ |

Well, yes indeed, he wrote 98% of all music and lyrics for Absurd during the 1990ties. He was less involved in the overall concept of "Asgardsrei", though.
I can't find that (Wolfsmond)-interview with him anymore, where he spoke about his change of heart/mind... Afaik, he's now preaching this wannabe-nihilism/misanthropy of "hating all humans equally" blabla. Quite a disappointment, I'd say. But makes him fit and proper for the company of his metalbrother-friends, I may add. _________________ Solitary Elitism:

Yeah, I'm a little confused as to why only the new versions are on the poll... _________________

If this photo stolen from Metal-Archives is recent, then he at least has still a good taste when it comes to Metal.
Plus he wrote probably the best German lyrics when it comes to Black Metal.
@ actual topic:
Vote goes to the first four songs of "Facta Loquuntur". Raw Teutonic evil!
Asgardsrei has some strong moments as well. New stuff is not my cup of tea and the demos are hardly listenable in one row. |
