Hard choice...for me it's between Totenlieder and Facta Loquuntur. Think I'll have an Absurd day when the missus takes the kids to town...been awhile since I've listened to these _________________

Der Fünfzehnjährige Krieg, the only decent release. _________________ Sale list (Burzum, DTL, Sunn O))), Darkthrone, Abruptum, Windir, Hellfest, Shining, Fissur, ...) : http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=710004#710004

I "was there" a good two years before you even got your first AC/DC dub, I happen to be older than you ya know -not the point here though since no one is impressed with this pathetic "I'm this huge scene pioneer" gimmick of yours.
Fact remains, nobody would have ever given two shits about your awful demotapes hadn't you oh so valiantly taken the life of some anorexic twat half your size, deal with it. So keep chit chatting with that other obese OCD'ed bud of yours and releasing worthless norsecore that no one gives jackshit about, that's how far your contribution to the scene you (keep claiming you) were such a key member goes.
/end of discussion from my side. |
My votes for NK7 albums:
1-Asgardtroll
2_Facta Troll
3-Werewolftroll
I don´t understand this guy, keep calm, take a guitar and make a better band than ABSURD and stop throwing shit in a forum. If they are "worthless norsecore that no one gives jackshit about" you can easily make a better band, then make a poll in the forum, and sleep in peace everyday.
More constructive, isn´t it?
But I know, is easier to throw shit on others. True? _________________ CARCHAROTH DEMO "MY FATHER WAS A WOLF"

Did you even read what I wrote? I clearly stated I'm full of admiration for the band's later releases, which I actually value among the best records ever when it comes to modern German metal (not that it says much but you get the point). Those early demos/albums are an entirely different chapter and I clearly explained why. It's the music I care about and nothing -read again, nothing- else. _________________ Permaban him

Interested in trading a dub of Apokalypsimz for a dub of Purpurearagotamiceps?
I want that Balwezo Westijiz–Urkraftens Mystik LP but wanted to get it with the Bekëth Nexëhmü |

Once a retard, always a retard. My reference to 1992-whatever was a response to your futile dispute that it can not be true Euronymous spoke of signing Absurd to DSP at some point. If you'd been "there", in this scene, in 1992/1993, then you would know better. Since you don't know shit but keep talking shit, it's self-evident you have not been there where I have been. Period.
I did not even comment, much less "admit" or "dispute" anything, on the other "point" you have raised, because I fail to see what any "extra-musical activities" got to do with one of the records this poll is all about. Feel free to start your own poll where you ask if the murder (former) members of Absurd have committed matters more than the music they have recorded (this band has recorded ever since).... And now, do as you say and get lost from this thread.

Wolf could have been in Leipzig since he attended university there at that time, but I am not 100% positive about that... I know for sure he and Andreas went to that comeback-gig of Mayhem in Bischofswerda, though. _________________ Solitary Elitism:

| I thought "Norsecore" was stuff like 1349, Tsjuder, Marduk and Dark Funeral. |

| Voted Asgardsrei. I like all releases, Facta Loquuntur, FJK & Totenlieder come very close. |

Ah, makes sense. I underestimated the distance between Leipzig and your town. |

@DTBRex: Interesting thing concerning the Wolfsmond tracks - when "In des Düsterwaldes Reigen" was released, we used to call it "the unofficial second Absurd full-length", haha! |
Yes, Sebastian has had the idea for Wolfsmond ever since 1993/1994, as a sideproject more personal (to himself) than Absurd. He even recorded a few rehearsaltracks for Wolfsmond in 1994 (one of them, "Deep Dark Forest", was used on F.L. though). It was only then he realized/learned of that other German B.M.-band Wolfsmond, and afaik there was some dispute between Sebastian and Managarm at first: Who's got more "rights" to the name Wolfsmond, and all. Since Sebastian could not continue with "his" Wolfsmond but Managarm recorded/released "Die Graue Saat" (one excellent demo btw!) in 1996, he shelved the idea for this project for the time being and focussed on Absurd again. Later, he and Managarm met and became friends, though.
After Sebastian decided to leave Absurd behind, he and Managarm joined forces and they re-started Wolfsmond together. That's why Sebastian contributed songs originally written for Absurd (and supposed to be used on "Totenlieder"), among others. _________________ Solitary Elitism:

He's recorded three albums with Wolfsmond since 2002; he used to play guitar and sing in Halgadom on the first three albums; and with his ex-wife he recorded two albums for In Acht & Bann (NeoFolk). I am sure he's writing music now as before. _________________ Solitary Elitism:

| So what's the situation with Absurd anyway, any change for a new material? I assume Unhold is no longer in the band? |
