Kill has got great tracks. I think it'd be a near classic if the production was more raw.
Cannibal Corpse are one of the best death metal bands ever. Not everything they record is amazing, but they have heart.

I Think I always hated Bloodthirst cus of the artwork. The Production is a little too much also.
But the artwork... fuck.
Big giant fly woman/man with tits and wings, Mortiis ears, green insect legs with tiny feet, holding some naked guys head with an alien baby still attached from the umbilical cord? Also a human being is it's left arm.
I think Vince Locke didn't give a shit in 1999. |

| Wretched Spawn is definitely my favorite post-Barnes album, i never could get into their other albums after tomb of the mutilated. Kill and evisceration plague does absolutely nothing for me. |

It's also the formula to every other album after. You can end on this album if you need to discover the bands "sound". In my opinion. |

Vile is actually the only post-Barnes album I've listened to that much. So an easy choice. Many years since I've last listened to anything with Cannibal Corpse though. Maybe I'll spin some of their old classics for nostalgia soon.

If you had heard the vocal tracks he laid down for Vile... you wouldn't feel they we dickheads for kicking him out...
Speaking of dickheads though... Didn't they have to change their logo because Barnes wouldn't let them continue to use it out of spite, cause he drew it or something like that... I forget. Anyway, their original logo ruled, the bloodied up Times New Roman font they went with is lame.
