Looking for bands in the vein of Possessed, Pentagram (Chile), Messiah, Merciless, Insanity, Savage Death, Chronic Decay, Slaughter and the likes.
Cheers. _________________

Speaking of Chronic Decay, Dark Descent should do an overdue comp of their material this year. I can't wait for it, that band is awesome.
I assume you've heard Nekromantheon? Of active bands they are somewhat in this vein, and very good. _________________

Tribulation don't do much for me.
As for Chronic Decay, I absolutely love their EP. The album is good too, but I feel like it's missing something, but cant put my finger on it.
I haven't listened to much Nekromantheon, I'll give them a shot. Thanks _________________

Although I wouldn't classify them as "primitive" and you probably already know them, PROTECTOR fits this list perfectly. |
