|
|
It is with great honour that Exitium, in collaboration with The Ajna Offensive, announce the forthcoming release of the monumental opus, MORTUUS - "De Contemplanda Morte" on pro-cassette format with complete artwork, lyrics and a fold-out art poster.
Released by The Ajna Offensive in 2007 on CD and Vinyl, this disciplinary work of occult practice and the worship of DEATH is one of the most worthy releases of Swedish Black Metal today, standing as a timeless testament of spiritual devotion:
"The Deaths spread by the many arms of Severity... are Holy!"
This album shall be released in 200 items; 100 available from AJNA in the USA and 100 available from Exitium in Europe.
It is ready to go to press this forthcoming week.
No pre-orders will be taken at this current time. Watch for further announcements...

Fantastic news. Still hate myself for waiting so long on buying the LP. |

I read that Mortuus is done for, if I recall right. However, new material would kill. |

I don't think the album's all that popular, to be honest. But 200 will build artificial cult due to it being any sort of under 500 limitation (though I'm sure this wasn't your intention). _________________

It's a silly number, they seem to miss the real point of a re-press. If you want to kvlt, leave it alone and rejoice... |

The cover artwork is very intriguing. Who did it? |

It's not popular at all, I have no idea how often copies pop up but I don't think it really goes for more than 20 euros. Maybe they are considered as a cool, or underrated band but its market price is actually low. _________________ Sic transit gloria mundi |

Never ever get tired of this album. Gave up hope for new material long ago, but curious about any possibility of the EP getting some sort of equally deserving rerelease. Been unsuccessfully searching for a copy on and off for years. |

People have had almost six years to get either the CD or LP from Ajna.
Furthermore there's nothing worse than sitting around in overstock which no-one orders. If both labels sell out of copies, we'll inquire about a second pressing but 200 is sufficient. _________________
