The second axe give it an extra layer me thinks.
Low mixed vocals is the only thing i dislike about Vomitor. _________________ "If noise means uncomfortable sound. Then pop is noise to me" - Masami Akita. |

Also the Mongrels Cross full length was really good. Their best material. _________________ "If noise means uncomfortable sound. Then pop is noise to me" - Masami Akita. |

Newest Revenge for sure, and while Sanctified Dysecdysis is amazing, I'd refrain from calling it their best material because it's just one song. An album of that caliber would possibly be better than SC, though. _________________

Testament - I never was their fan but can easily new one 8/10
Lascowiec - their best, could have more metal songs though
Al Namrood - only of those 'orienetal' metal bands that works |

Not sure that does this one belong to last years or this years albums (it came out around when the year changed) but this is what I have listened even more than Mgla. Absolute modern classic. |
100% agreed. I have listened to this a lot.
Can’t think of any other besides Teitanblood – Sanctified dysecdysis |

It's by far not on par with the first three albums but Grave's "Endless procession of souls" is easily their strongest release in a long while, the best one since Soulless I'd say. _________________ Thread derailed

Interested in trading a dub of Apokalypsimz for a dub of Purpurearagotamiceps?
I want that Balwezo Westijiz–Urkraftens Mystik LP but wanted to get it with the Bekëth Nexëhmü |

Oh yes forgot about Nekromantheon. My favourite thrash album of this year.
Speaking of norewgian thrash, Tantara released good album this year, but it's only their debut LP. |

Black Feast with their "Weltering Shadows of Satan's Coven" material for me. Also Mgla needs to be mentioned, together with the debut of Year of the Goat. _________________ "That is not dead which can eternal lie,

Really? It's a good album for sure but nowhere close to being as good as Bleeding the Priest or Neutron Hammer 7". |
I like every Vomitor release but The Escalation is their darkest and sickest output ever. The only complaint about the album is that vocals are too low in the mix. |
Vomitor for sure put their best material out this year.
I'd add Derketa, as well. In Death We Meet was the culmination of all their past releases. |
