| Oblachnyj Kraj and Kruiz seem interesting to me. Can anyone recommend some albums to begin? |

Also not so long ago I was provided by the link to the low quality mp3 ( ) of a totally obscure band from Soviet Belarus called Люцифер (Lucifer), namely their `Live At "Rock Forum" Festival`1989! Reminded me of old Samael very much, sad there is no any information about them anywhere (at least in open sources), besides that they were located in Grodno (a city which became recently famous due to Mr. Kronum & associates, heh) and played at couple fests... _________________ Kiss My Coffin!

Think you could share that link? I'd be interested in hearing it based on the Samael comparison. _________________ If you are a false don't marry! Girlfriend is ok but only destructing anus from behind!!! - Fat Dagon

Is the Holostoi Vystrel LP still relatively easy to get? Definitely after a copy. _________________ www.contagionreleasing.com |

| Not the most common record, but not too difficult. Got my copy for $7 on ebay a while back and I've seen several copies offered in the last 6months or so but I haven't followed the prices. |

Just copped one for $20 with shipping. Not bad. _________________ www.contagionreleasing.com |

Apart from Korrozia Metalla and Phantasm, I'd also recommend the early Мафия (Mafia) and Д.И.В. (D.I.V.) stuff which are pretty awesome as well! _________________ WANT LIST

Just re-listened... Well, faster songs/moments are more Celtic Frost, being objective, but I liked more slower parts which are lesser, but making mentioned Samael associations... |
Can definitely hear the Celtic Frost in this on the first listen.
The sound isn't really that bad, when you said low quality mp3s I really thought it was going to be almost unlistenable quality stuff like the Christblood demo or something, instead it's a very decent sounding live recording. _________________ If you are a false don't marry! Русская Зима (Russian Winter) - Death Doom from '89. Someone mentioned that Amorphis quoted them as an influence, though I could not find the source of this claim.

Also the cold, cold Old Wainds deserve a mention, there was a thread here about them recently |

Well. The most amusing thing is that those days almost EVERY UG metal live was actually recorded, it's just the fact noone knows where are the sources these days... I have the Scaffold live from 1990 digitized from bobbin and those tracks are sounding better than Wacken recordings to my taste... _________________ Kiss My Coffin!
