And if a band sings about it and makes it their theme that's different, actually even if the band members have the beliefs durring the recordings, fuck it. Seriously though, do Christian Metal bands who are like ZERO TOLERANCE for Satanists exist???
If I were to do a Christian Death Metal/Extreme Metal type band - I would want it to be as over the top PRO GOD as possible.
I think that would be really interesting.
Lyrics about the Crusades, lyrics that are anti every other religion that isn't Christianity, HARD AND BRUTAL music.
Lyrics about "not suffering a witch to live....".
Lyrics about fucking up devil worshipers etc.
So - please tell me if there are bands like this????
It would suck though if there were bands like this and the music and vocals suck...that would be a bummer.

| I actually thought most people would do some kind of mental screening when they listen to metal lyrics since a lot of bands lyrics are either blatantly dick-riding Satan for the 10000th time, using cheesy fantasy or left wing/humanism. Only a few bands get it right. I see no problem doing exactly the same with a Mortification or Incubus album. But to take extra offense at just biblical lyrics when others are equally bad is kinda ridiculous. I don't see why having or listening to something like this means you have to agree with the fucking lyrics or what the band does on a Sunday. I still listen to Kreator even though I don't like the lyrics. |

Not exactly death metal but I remember years ago there was a christian grindcore band from Australia, Vomitorial Corpulence. They had song titles like Christ is the demon crusher. At first sight I thought they were joking but they were 100% true on their beliefs. Don't remember how they played though.. Maybe it was pretty decent
