Our trembling hands claw the dirt and the skin around our nails peels to the ivory bone. Welcome... to our lucrative grave robbing business!

This necro-ensemble started out as a side-project, but quickly became the main focus of it's core of two foul coffin-looting bastards. As today's 'death' metal landscape consists of polished marble-lidden vaults, we keep our coffin-tales darker. STRANGE FACTS IN THE SCALPEL CASE is based in the cryptic caverns of the earth. Drawing inspiration from those on whom the worms feed, we emerge grimed with the mold of interment. Conjure the mighty dead with us! Join us!

"...the music opened up and let me into the obscure and wicked universe of STRANGE FACTS IN THE SCALPEL CASE and gave me a roller coaster ride Iím not likely to forget. The dark and atmospheric Death Metal contains a lot of twists and breaks, dark seances and utter horrifying moments."

Want to see what we are grinning about? Read & explore our coffin tales in this fine interview by FANGS OF NECRODIVINE HARMONY

Really off the norm and interesting, quality stuff.

Looks like Abyss Records is carrying the CD for US buyers. I'm going to snag a copy.

PS: dalecooper =>

We are in the final stages of recording 2 new tracks to be released around the end of the year:

CYCLOPEAN DREAM (approaching R'lyeh)
MONOLITH REVERENCE (a cenobite chant)

I see you draw inspiration from the Cthulhu Mythos for your artwork aswell, so I'm guessing you're going to like the direction we're taking with this new single Cool

I'll keep you informed!

Thanks - drop me a line (private message) when the release is upcoming, I'd love to hear it.

By the way, if you're looking for any sort of tentacled beast for the art, I have one available. No charge or anything, I'm just trying to find a home for it. Click here.

Totally unheard of today. Rolling Eyes

Well that's not a bad thing neither... Even if I wouldn't mention that sort of features, because one would notice that in any case.

Just got this last night and have really been enjoying it all morning. I really like the unusual way you guys write songs - it reminds me of the aural equivalent of what seem like they might be some literary influences on the band (Lovecraft & Poe).
