BLACK DRAUGWATH 'The true Bottomless Armageddon' CD
OUT NOW. In 1997, a now ancient Russian band called Black Draugwath recorded an album called "Bottomless Armageddon". The release of the album was delayed and pushed backwards for years and years. In the mean time, the band changed the name to Blackdeath and recorded and released the "Saturn sector" and "Fucking fullmoon foundation" albums. In 2004, after some re-workings and re-recorded vocals, the album was finally released on CD and LP. It's long sold out by now and actually one of the hardest to find albums in the whole Blackdeath discography, as well as probably their harshest. This unreleased, first rough version of the album, with the original vocals takes never saw the black of night until the paths of Blackdeath and HHR crossed 16 years after those original recordings. We now present "The true Bottomless Armageddon" under Black Draugwath monniker.
CD comes with big fold out sleeve with all lyrics (never published before), long two page story explaining the history of the album, photos, etc. Limited to 500 copies.

It is with personal pride that I announce the release of this Svarthymn MCD. The three tracks on this MCD were previously released on an obscure split tape release with another Swedish band in 2001. Only around 70-80 copies of the tape were ever distributed, though while the other band has re-re-re-released their songs until death, the five individuals behind Svarthymn choose to remain hidden, and in fact split up, never to record anything again. Their three tracks show highly original and atmospheric midtempo black metal with a bit of melancholic doom metal influences. Keep in mind, these songs were written at the turn of the century; even before albums like "Suicidal emotions" and "Death - pierce me" were released, and before bands like Forgotten Tomb and Hypothermia even existed, so the band was in no way part of the nowadays subscene of whining clowns who were mere copies of these mentioned bands. These three tracks are a personal embodiment of despondent, crestfallen, melancholic, depressed black metal and have been a favorite immediately since the tape was released. Out now on limited CD.

Everyone should buy at least Dawn Bringer. That's the hardest to find. _________________ Your opinion is as insignificant as your existence.

What's special about Dawn Bringer that it wasn't included with the other reissues NWN did? Still never heard this one.
"Plateau..." is still available. Very good EP, still have it on 10" from the days when Fudgeworthy Recs. distributed Shivadarshana stuff in the US. |
