Hadn't listened to this and Pandemonic Incantations in a decade til a few months back when I thought it was time to give them a spin. They both sounded better than I remembered, "Dragon's lair" is a cool track. For all I'm concerned PI is the last good Behemoth album (Zos kia has its moments though). _________________ Thread derailed

Interested in trading a dub of Apokalypsimz for a dub of Purpurearagotamiceps?

Definitely a good album from what I remember. It's been a really long time since I listened to it, though. Guess it's time to grab the CD for a spin...
I thought this thread was going to be about the US NS band, by the way. Haven't heard anyone so much as utter their name in at least 8 years, so I was quite shocked. |

Will fix the title, never heard of the band in question (luckily, I guess).
@ topic:
I think this album is already stinking a bit. There are fine moments, but the overall atmosphere gets ruined by unacceptable parts. |

| It was a product of its time but definitely second-tier Black Metal. Poles are much better at Death/Thrash than they are at BM. |

I'm legitimately shocked to hear someone say this. In my opinion, some of the best black metal ever has come out of Poland. |

I know it's only my opinion but no Polish BM I have ever heard comes close in intensity to the likes of Magnus, Kat, Throneum... If you can recommend me something I'd be delighted! |

Those bands sure made some good stuff. But at least I have never got into them as much into Graveland, Fullmoon or Veles. _________________

I doubt I can, as you probably already know everything I'd mention, I'm sure. Very common bands. I'm a huge fan of Graveland and Infernum, for instance, and then I like quite a bit of Selbstmord, Veles, old Behemoth, Fullmoon, Thor's Hammer, Ohtar, etc.

I'd take Vader over any of those. _________________ http://www.dissectionforum.dk/ |

Hmm with Graveland I love Following the voice of blood, the other stuff is very good too but nothing mindblowing! Actually, I've never checked out Veles - what's best to try out here?
Currently blasting "GROM" - it has some really excellent parts but it's a very patchy release with some very dull songs. The atmosphere is inconsistent and many riffs should have been thrown out. |

Graveland is one of the best metal bands of all time. _________________ "If noise means uncomfortable sound. Then pop is noise to me" - Masami Akita. |

I like that they've done. But maybe Night on the Bare Mountain is the best for start. _________________
