I doubt the DVD will ever see the light of day... but ya never know. The last anyone heard anything I think was back in 2008 when Set had made a brief comment so who the fuck knows. The few clips of it on youtube are quite an experience however.
Also if anyone has any merch from this show let me know. I heard alot of the shirt designs, sweatshirts.., etc were killer. |

I'm sure the show will be released sooner or later. They're probably just waiting for a date with specific meaning or an anniversary of some kind. _________________ http://www.dissectionforum.dk/ |

Wow, seeing this other forum reminded me of how powerful and productive the days of the original Dissection.nu forum was. Nice seeing some of that again.
In regards to Midsummer Night's Massacre... Don't hold your breath.
Releasing it is not a top priority, although I would love it to be released, this won't happen any time soon - if ever.
It IS recorded, however.
I wasn't able to attend the gig, but as far as I know this was the track listing (Taken from a post by Jon on the original Dissection forum):
Nexion 218
Beyond The Horizon
Black Dragon
Unhallowed
Where Dead Angels Lie
Xeper-I-Set
God of Forbidden Light
Reinkaos
Night's Blood
Soulreaper
Dark Mother Divine
The Somberlain
Starless Aeon
Thorns of Crimson Death

Thanks for the track listing. I knew a good amount of it was Reinkaos material, it's good that they threw the classics in there as well.
Yeah who really knows as far as the dvd goes, they did have a massive camera crew on the set apparently (even bigger than the rebirth dvd) so the wait shall continue ha. |

It was a great gig. They had some killer Storm/Somberlain shirts with the cover design in a circle- a couple of my friends got these. (They also sold prints of these in the old Dissection shop).
As for the show itself. The raw footage exists. It hasn't even been edited together as of yet so it will be some time...
And the old Dissection forum was great. |

They probably just don't want to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Having unreleased stuff is a part of keeping the legacy alive. Didn't they also film a documentary about Jon, following him from his release to the Rebirth show? _________________ http://www.dissectionforum.dk/ |

Yeah the wait will be well worth it when it's unleashed.
The stage design they used was easily the most intense of I've ever seen in metal. I heard Erik D. was behind alot of it too (artwork, merch designs etc..) |

| Erik owns the rights to the DVD as far as I know it will not be released in the near future which is stupid they should just release it I don't see the point of spending all that money filming then not bothering to put the finished product out. |

I don't know about the merch designs, but the stage setup was designed by T. Ketola. _________________ http://www.dissectionforum.dk/ |

| Seriously. And with Watain releasing that pointless Opus Diaboli film, I don't think there should be much of a hold up haha. Don't get me wrong the footage of the 13th anniversary show was fantastic, but the whole story thing was cheesy and overdone and mainly just Erik going for a casual stroll on the beach. |

There's two possible scenarios based on the information that's out there. The first is that there's a planned date for the release which hasn't yet arrived. The second is that Jon's unpaid debts has made it difficult to release it. Rumor is that he borrowed a lot of money to do the show and basically screwed the investors by taking his own life. _________________ http://www.dissectionforum.dk/ |
