Wow this Hadez boxset looks incredible. I'm glad you are putting this out. I was lucky enough to see them play live in Chile a couple months ago with Communion, Nebiros, Ekron Cult and Cancerbero.. Hadez mostly played their demo material!

I had the prices set up incorrectly for the past few days. The regular prices are:
$35 for regular box
$45 for die hard box _________________ Your opinion is as insignificant as your existence.

Is that the Spanish rehearsal version of one of the demos? I was told by John that they only released four demos officially and everything else was just reh tapes sent to friends. _________________ Your opinion is as insignificant as your existence.

It's strange that no one has commented yet about this boxset, nor the music itself to begin with.
I have bought my copy directly from the band a few days ago, and I think that there are a few issues which I had to comment:
First of all, it sounds better than the cd version released some years ago and that is to say A LOT.
The box looks good, I would have preferred a triple gatefold instead but well that's just a personal appreciation.
However, I do think that the records should come with a sleeve, at least a paperthin sleeve with extra info about where the songs come from.
The music, needless to say, kills. It was refreshing to listen to all that material again, especially on vinyl. They were one of the few acts that, had their own sound, despite of being named as Sarcofago worshippers. This fact was completely unintentional and fortuit which adds more value to their music itself. _________________ Psicoterror'zine,

Man, I love this boxset.
I listen to it all day, mostly just both sides of LP 1 though for some reason. Just received it around christmas time and its already a staple in my vinyl collection. I am young and I'm Just discovering a lot of south american gems so when i ordered this I purposely did not listen to anything online related to it. such quality material to get in the mail and listen to. My girlfriend even read the zine and was translating all of it to me in English. NWN always delivers. Don't know how I would have heard about this if it wasn't for this label. |

Yes, unfortunately, all of those old interviews were written originally in spanish, although for practical reasons they should have been translated to english for this boxset. And yes, they were, together with Mortem, one of the most important bands coming from Peru, and one of the very few who had the chance to record their demos at a proper studio, in 8 tracks. _________________ Psicoterror'zine,

I agree with you, This box set is priceless.. the booklet is very informative with a lot of rare pictures.
But they make the same mistake as the CD, dated "guerreros de la muerte" demo from 1986, when they really recording in 1988.
The next thing to released is the Hadez rehearsals and live recordings... or better the most waited Mortem demo compilation. _________________ BENDITO EL FRUTO DE TU VIENTRE OH! MADRE MUERTE |
