I was thinking, I have heard so much about that band but I really don't know whats true and what is false, I want to know more about the Ross Bay 'Cult' and what the band was famous for except for playing the most brutal Black metal around and having huge influence on all the BM scene. I have read several interviews but not many enough to satisfy. I remember similar Sadistik Exekuton thread that my friend did here on the forum and it was great reading it, so I thought it could not be so bad idea to make another about Blasphemy.
Did they actually dig up alot of graves in the Ross Bay Cemetery? I want to know things like that.

Back in the 1993 there was the European tour with Immortal and Rotting christ. I was too young to go but a friend who went to the Belgian gig told me that the attitudes towards the bands back then was not what you'd expect today. When Immortal was done playing they had to go through the public and the crowd really opened up for them. Playing black metal and being from Norway was enough to have a though image back then. Fear might be too much to say but something in that area. But when Blasphemy left the stage people would just give them pads on the shoulders and talk to them. Eventhough Blasphemy were probably ten times more tough guys then Immortal people thought the other way around back then.
Anyway, not really what you might have been looking for but I found it interesting to hear... |

Yeah. I was just addressing the fact that this book was, if I am not mistaken, said to contain a lot of "led" stories that don't hold any ground.
