Truth be told, keyboards are often present, though scarce, in the darkest DM bands: I second Infester, Imprecation, Thou Shalt Suffer
and add Grave Miasma.
Used well in certain passages it adds that unmistakable OCCULT aura to the ensemble, a real darker dimension or something like that

yes, there is PESTILENCE, but they suck, I think. 
and off course, ACHERON knew how to do it, my bad I forgot them on the first post.
in fact, when the aesthetic boundaries between DM and BM weren't as defined as nowadays, many bands sounded very original just naturally. that was when keyboards were used more often in DM. |
