It's getting pressed by Relapse, so they're obviously going to see a surge in listeners now (expect Weapon shirts in high streets shops). The sample track 'aint too bad, though I really hate that drum sound.

Sounds good to me. I don't think they'll recapture the magic they had on "Para Bhakti" but there's nothing wrong with this track. People will be in a hurry to dismiss them though just because of the label.

The track sounds okay, the riffs are interesting, hoping the rest of the tracks will be better though. Then again they're better live than on record.

Sample sounds great, not as good as From The Devil's Tomb judging from the riffs, but I'd like to hear the whole.
Also keep in mind that whilst Relapse are responsible for some very shit and uninteresting Death Metal, they're also responsible for Disembowelment, who are one of the greatest things to happen to Death Metal.
I highly doubt that being signed to Relapse will have any affect upon the band. They released a great shirt on Mvrder/Svicide Incidents - our feline friendly underground, independent label - and if Relapse want to give Weapon better packaging and wider distribution whilst the band themselves are firmly lodged in maintaining the values of the underground and supporting smaller labels, I cannot see any problem here.

I wasn't suggesting that is anything bad, I just typed as thoughts came out of my head. I am not implying anything with that statement. The high street shops part of the comment was meant to be a joke by the way...
In regards to the mix, I just don't like the clean drum sound. Everything else isn't that bad though, but not as good as previous works.  |

Never got into this band to much. But I did enjoy this song though.
