| Surprised no one has mentioned Revenge or Conqueror yet. In the spectrum of classic metal though, albums like Pleasure to Kill. Reign in Blood, Beneath the Remains, etc stick out to me because at the time I heard them I couldn't believe how fast they were playing. |

Saying that, Napalm Death - Scum, FETO and the Peel Sessions all need mentioning here. If I could re-live any musical experience again it would be hearing Napalm Death for the first time again. They sounded fucking unreal. |
Yes, FETO literally blew my mind when I first heard it. That and the ENT second peel session floored me with how out of control and violent they sounded. Hardly the fastest stuff but the delivery is unbelievably effective.

I would say Blood Libels with Antaeus. Few bands can match the velocity and intensity of that record, in my opinion. Those blast beats sound inhuman.
Also Pleasure to Kill, Darknes Descends, and of course, The Awakening.

| Adversarial. I know a lot of their music is fast, and blast based. But there are certain parts where Armageddon unfolds, the pure madness of Adversarial comes forth, the extremely fast blasts take place and everything is decimated. That is the proper use of speed. |
