The picture is he hand of of an Afghani man caught by the Taliban and accused of bootlegging rare demo tapes. They put his hand through the shredder as punishment for supporting ebay capitalism, blasphemy, and ripping them off on a few LLN original tapes.

A limited batch of new Dispirit tapes will be available at the show. In a few weeks we should have more in stock for mailorder/distro. I will make a new thread when that time comes.

listening to the new dispirit demo that the band had for sale at the gig and it is astounding. there are very few bands that are capable of such dramatic shifts in atmosphere and intensity. gossard's sense of composition is impeccable and the general level of musicianship in the band is extraordinary. i enjoyed the show thoroughly, but i honestly much prefer listening to this music alone in my apartment. really hope that 2013 brings a full length dispirit record.
