*obviously i'm thinking about the bass player in iron maiden, so if he has drummed somewhere i'd like to know about it. Very Happy

I was referring to guitar/bass musicians of course.
As far as drummers go: Steve Ashiem, Jaime Garcia (drummer on Mortem's 'Decomposed..' album), Proscriptor etc

Agree with you, Balgradon Xul is a very good drummer and its best performance is on Infinity "Enter thy Labyrinth of hell"

Add drummer T.T. of Abigor and, as actual vocalist, Hoest of Taake......

Bill Ward and Geezer Butler- heaviest battery team ever assembled.

Clive Burr and Steve Harris- also one of the greatest rhythm sections, no contest. I think some people overlook Burr for the much more charismatic Nicko, but Clive brought a tension and heaviness to even their more ballady moments. Totally origianal, with that perfect blend of tight and loose that marks the best drummers.

My more recent fav's include Griffiths, Proscriptor, and the violently spasmodic J. Read.
