Yep, starting with the wicked album cover. Why they started switching to atrocious photoshop collages I'll never know Laughing

They were really good up to Necrodaemon Terrorsathan, and it's beyond me how anyone who's into extreme metal cannot appreciate Blutsabbath.

One of my most favorite death metal bands. They also live what they preach and are extremely dedicated fanatics.
But i admit they have a certain bonus because we come from the same Bundesland.

I liked 'blutsabbath' and 'infernal live orgasm'(?) ... Pestapokalypse had it's moments but don't like the newer stuff.

The first two albums are great, and the 7". Nothing after that really.

Nope, contrary to popular belief Steyr is a city in Salzburg, not Burgenland.

As far as my opinion about them gooes, after "Bondage Goat Zombie" they only released average albums. But i still have all of them on vinyl as this band means more than music to me. Met the guys several times throughout my tennage years. It's part of my very own metal history.

I've really enjoyed 'Necrodaemon ..' for 10 years or so now - I think it's a fucking excellent riff driven album that never gets boring for me. Ironically enough for loving this album so much, I've never heard the others. Not even 'Bluttsabbath' or 'The Last Supper' ... I'm a shitty / lazy fan. I'd imagine I'd like those quite a bit if I like 'Necrodaemon ...'

I'm a little more apprehensive to go past 'Necrodaemon ...' in their discography.

I remember listening to Pestapokalypse and thinking it was rather good. I'm gonna have to give the other albums a go then, though I must admit, this is band not immediately a priority. There are other things i'd rather have at this point. But i've got a lifetime, so ill get to it at some point Razz

You can safely stop at Necrodaemon Terrorsathan. But Blutsabbath is alot better than Necro, one of the best black/death metal albums ever recorded. Listen to that link I posted to the song "The Requiem of Hell", some of the most aggressive riffs I've ever heard and the guitar sound is perfect. Blutsabbath is almost a perfect album.
