In 2000, Brian Griffin engineered this re-recording ov two songs from the full length demo. The musikal form ov the songs was unchanged but our DELIVERY ov the material develop'd from blackened grindcore into something better deskrib'd as kaotik-yet-teknikal deathmetal.
Still, this update remained unreleased by the certain (fucking) Italian label who ASK'D US to rekord it.

| Were there other ACC tracks recorded in '97 or something like that? I recall hearing an alternate version of Stab You in Your Sleep somewhere. |

First full length demonstration trakk'd on 8 trak winter '95 mix'd '96...the 'blackened grindcore' sound.
we thought the raspy fuck'd up sound was hurtful and good but in those days lo-fi and mid-fi was a liability, not an attribute, so we went back to re-record the whole album, plus "shat from an exit wound" on ADAT with good mics. on the way to the session I slammed my finger in a freight elevator door and had to duct tape the drumstick into my hand because it wouldn't bend. anyway, yes, N41, the '97 re-record has alternates ov every trakk but only "blak fathoms", which had the crucial bass counterpoint part included (unlike on the first demo), was a superior version to the first record.
There's a live show from '98 and then in 2000 we were asked to do a 7" which is the third recording ov the two songs (in the video herein link'd in this thread) and the first time we work'd with an extreme-metal engineer, the able Brian Griffin. To his (professional) dismay I was starting and stopping the recording ov the 2" reel-to-reel tape DURING Rüker's guitar solos to get those superluminal dimension-piercing artifacts.
The fidelity is better but Insulter prefers the first verzh. I get the impression Insulter doesn't fancy the teknikal Death, no matter how kaotik. _________________ http://nondornevai.com/news.html |

I have the master ready to go for the definitive ABORTED CHRIST CHILDE release. I need to paint the cover and then the album will be ready for press. This band was at least a full decade ahead of its time.
Can someone put the logo up on Metal Archives? I had to find the original drawing that I did before I could get one that was a high enough resolution to use for promotion etc.

Yeah I filed a report it should be up soon.
What format are you thinking of putting the definitive release out on? I'm excited to hear these versions w/ bass tracks. The link in the OP sounds great. _________________ shit I want |
