GRIMOIRE DE OCCULTE ???
Haha! what does it mean ?

GRIMOIRE D'OCCULTISME is correct
GRIMOIRE OCCULTE too but it depends of the signification you want to give to these words.

Personally I would choose "Grimoire de l'occulte" but the name as it stands is highly incorrect (which is kinda cool in a way).

My guess is inspiration from Cultes Des Ghoules, trying to use french words as a name. But it is incorrect indeed, sounds funny for french speakers definitly.

What's so different in charging for a demo tape then? Why could one not charge for a rehearsal to get the costs back from making the tapes?

I scored that via trade some time ago - it is truly a disturbing music, recommanded!

Ive never paid for a demo yet, most bands who dont think they are superstars give them out free to promote themselves

Right. Although demos for sure are meant to promote the band in the first place, I still don't still see why you couldn't pay for one. At least when there's a sample available/sold at a gig so you don't have to buy it blind. Kvlt or not, I would think it is more efficent to have a sample and sell tapes for people than spread a huge amount of tapes randomly, except for some labels and zines perhaps. Although tape or at least some physical format is the way most labels prefer to receive any promotional stuff, many of the worthy labels won't take notice since they are completely booked with their upcoming releases. Better have some support from the audience first and I would think you have a bigger chance to have a lable interested in releasing your stuff in the future.

Also, I would think superstars have more money to send a shitload of free tapes around than any beginner band. Tape is not a very cheap format if you want to do it well so if the demo seems interesting, you might just chip a couple of coins in so they can produce the next one.
