11th and 12th of November 2011 are the dates when the first ever Arosian Black Mass will be held. This 2 day event of esoteric music and art will take place in the city of Västerås (Arosia in Latin), Sweden (~100 km west of Stockholm).
Arosian Black Mass should be seen as an officially associated but independent continuation of the Nidrosian Black Masses, Trondheim Norway (pt. I (2007), pt. II (2008) and pt. III (2010)).
The intention with Arosian Black Mass is not to be another cliché and standard "Black Metal festival". The whole event will have it's focus upon an esoteric process within which all participating artists will play key roles. The visitors shall expect a complete arcane impression through visions, audio and atmosphere. It is meant to be an extraordinary experience that they will never forget!

I would like to be in on that "dark Germanic heathenism" thing that the Scythe of Death connection is all about, so I'll try to attend your community church's fest. Is headbanging etc. allowed or will this result in me being removed by the concelebrants? Also, in addition to the merchandising provided by bands and their respective labels, are the attendants required to bring self-made cookies and muffins and will there be a tombola?
Sorry, I got carried away there for a moment. But, I really want to see Hetroertzen, One Tail, One Head and Mare. Can you already give an estimate on what a ticket will cost? |

There are no plans of adding more bands as far as I know. Quality over quantity. This isn't a shitty american grindcore event.
Looking forward to this. I hope this will be a success so it will happen again next year.

Chill out, big guy. How does a request for Black Majesty correlate with either quality over quantity or 'American grindcore events'? Not exactly a reach for the stars considering the circumstances.. |
