I really do not get NK7 nonsense... statements like: after 1993..., under 30 years etc ... bla bla blaa... (almost) every time this guy says something its bullshit.

I happen to dislike spoiled teen brats with huge mp3 collections sermonizing about metal while obviously lacking any sort of primordial knowledge of the genre and its classics. Pricks like that belvedere queer should be euthanized.

Yes, same here. But I dont worry as doubt any of the stuff I miss can be as good as my old favorites from years past.

It's pretty easy to check out bands these days. Not many i haven't avoided really. There are tons of "One man" and "Depressive" black metal bands i haven't bothered with though.
Also there are going to be heaps of European power/speed/trad metal bands i haven't found yet.

i still haven't heard a lot of the old school dm bands praised on here like autopsy, bolt thrower, pestilence, sodom, dismember, obituary etc. but don't you have to be like 40 years old minimum to have been around when those bands were in their prime?

Sorry, but how is it possible NOT to heard at least some SODOM if you're into Extreme Metal? Only people that live under a rock below the ocean or are not older than 12 years, maybe. Those are plain basics, at least to me. |
