Generally agree with ADK on this one - I too find this band pretty boring. A few interesting/different riffs here and there, interspersed with some quite mediocre generic moments.

Plus I hate when a band has one EP/demo, and already a ton of shirts - style over substance for the fashion kvlt.

I can see how one shirt qualifies as tons of shirts. Not. I can't.

I am not a huge fan of this band, but ''image'' over substance? Rolling Eyes
Also, a band overhyped on NWN doesn't necessarily mean they're overhyped in general (a lot of the time they're actually good; Antediluvian, Teitanblood, Cultes, etc) ... bands like Ghost, Watain, Warbringer.. THOSE bands are hyped/overrated/etc.

I rarely listen to death metal but after hearing a song or two from these guys I'm considering picking up both releases. In my eyes, there's something different going on here.

Calling this band style over substance is just straight up retarded.

So what, when it's an orthodox band, people praise music, imagery, lyrics, etc, as being strong. Here's the band has all good, minus the occult circus and lyrics about Satanic gnosticism, and some come with spite.

I don't know these guys, their motives or whatever, but calling to style over substance when 99% of your so-called serious bands fit exactly this scheme, even when their music is strong, is pure and simple hypocrisy.

This band has some great material, and that pretty much sums them up. There isn't a lot of material, but what is available at this point is really decent!

Anyone know if any US Distros are carrying the AURA CD? I know NWN had it and sold out before I got a chance to grab it.... Thanks!

Good riffs at certain parts, but it would be immensely better if they dropped the death metal vocals altogether. The dissonant shrieks sound much better, other than that good material
