I've been on a big "The Music of Erich Zann" kick lately, but don't own any of their other albums. Where to start ? I've sampled various things from youtube, but the quality is hit or miss so far and I prefer to listen to a physical album from start to finish to really soak it in.

Recommendations appreciated for similar bands as well.

Is this the soundtrack of The Emoji Movie? Seems fitting as both are cancer incarnate.

Wow, digging both of these. Totally different sound between the two, but exactly what I'm looking for nonetheless. Thanks !

Nope.. one of those bands that I always hear "you NEED to hear this", but are still under my radar. Off to investigate...

Psychotic Waltz' "A Social Grace" is arguably the best 'prog' album from the 90's.

You might dig Forbidden, especially Twisted Into Form.

What exactly are you looking for?

First five LPs are unbelievable, better start with Kaleidoscope and their debut. The rest are also good, except for Pictures at an Exhibition, terribly mediocre release.

I like the Psychotic Waltz tracks I've looked up on youtube today, and plan on tracking down their stuff. Sounds like I should start with A Social Grace.

I'm already well into Forbidden, especially Twisted Into Form is right !

Not sure how to describe exactly what I'm looking for... just weird / out of the ordinary thrash that I may have missed over the years.

Target is good, especially their second album. I guess you're looking for classic sounding technical thrash metal, but these records require their time to properly listen to 'em. My advice would be to fully listen to MD's discography before moving on

If you can get over the vocals, try Confessor as well then.

I second Holy Terror! Terror and Submission is a stone cold classic! Ditto for Watchtower and Energetic Disassembly!
