This was posted on the facebook page of Khrysanthoney:

"Dear everyone,

My name is Marieke and I am the wife of Wilhelm- the proprietor and creative mind behind Khrysanthoney. It is with pain in my heart that I have to share the news that Wilhelm is no longer among us. His passing away unexpectedly was an absolute tragedy and has left many devastated.

Wilhelm, who was very private about his life -as many of you know- was 32 years old, an intellectual, a creative talent, a compassionate man and a beautiful soul like no other. He possessed a light that blinded and outshone all, and so whatever comes after this life- I am sure that the best will befall him.

As you may be able to understand, I am struggling for words here, and I just wanted to say that any orders that are placed on the Khrysanthoney website from here on out will be cancelled and your money will be refunded, because I currently am in no position to carry on the distribution of the records.

It is, however, my express desire to gather artists-- especially artist friends to create a tribute to this beautiful person who was taken from us too soon. If you are interested in working with me on that, I would appreciate it if you would PM me. It will probably take me some time to get back to you all, so please bear with me.

Wilhelm, darling-- please rest in peace, the world is a little less bright without you....

All my love,
Marieke"

I just want to say that personally I loved the cult pages of Gallery of the Grotesque zine and spent many lonely nights with those pages before my eyes. Wilhelm's humorous approach to the interviews was quite unique and always entertaining, and I will always treasure these zines.

Crazy shit.
A few years back when Metal Storm'zine was more active, we messaged eachother a few times. Trading tips and ideas from layouts to printing and so on. . He seemed like a stand up fellow.
I checked out one of his issues, which ever was released around '10.
I liked it. Wasn't as dull as others around that time.

RIP
Send my greetings to DIO and Giger . .

Truly saddening. I quite enjoyed his writing. I've always felt that behind his words was a truly interesting personality and I can see that clearly reflected in the comments others have left on the fb page. He was too young. RIP.

My memory is fading but my favourite Wilhelm moment was when he turned heel and joined up with ANUS and was leading some anti-NWN thing on FMP.

This is probably another attention grabbing move.

I would really like to say this now:

But, I guess the spirit of Buffo has died now.

I question the authenticity of this, based off of two things-
1. Wilhelm has a long history of faking entire lives.
2. What wife immediately gets on Facebook to talk about getting a musical tribute together the same day her husband dies (or even at all)?

The emotionally shaken wife. Someone likely poked right out and suggested it to her and she thought it's a good idea.

Then again, maybe it's all faked. However, if it really is and you're already doing research to uncover it, you essentially bit the bait.

There wasn't any research necessary, but I get what you mean.
