| The thread is called "Entombed appreciation", so why are Entombed-dislikers posting here? |

| Hey, I'm going to the record shop today. Should I buy an Entombed cd? |

STILL love ENTOMBED!
I even like the last 3, back to DM for the most part. _________________ We Are Satan's Generation And We Don't Give A Fuck! |

| I love all Nicke Andersson era albums. Each one have something special, well written and slightly different. I can understand why some of LHP and Clandestine fans cant stand the death 'n roll stuff, it's quite obvious. But that dont change the fact that Wolverine Blues and To ride to shoot straight and speak the truth are really good records. |

Left Hand Path is definitely the best Entombed record, and possibly the besr record from the Swedish DM scene altogether.
Clandestine isn't better in any way, and yes, I do like the album... but LHP blows it out of the water..

Love, love, love Entombed. Possibly my favorite dm band. Picking a favorite record is quite a tough call, LHP is a timeless classic and I really dig the crispy way it sounds, but Wolverine Blues has this incredible Sabbath vibe.. I enjoy nearly all their releases, that last album was a bit disappointing, Inferno could be better and it's been seriously too many years since I listened to Same Difference. The rest sound great. _________________ Sic transit gloria mundi |

(Not my own work but good for a laugh)
"Stop it all!
Poison!
Singing down your ears
Kurdistan is brutal, man
It's something else
We went to the store and stayed up all night
Went into the head
Buried a jew in the fruit cellar
Blast it! I thought you were dead
We had a mammoth midnight feast on your body
Jelly beans across the floor!
I stayed up again with you
And banged my head
You were supposed to rot
...were supposed to rot!
No saucepan? DENIED!
I'll eat choc again.
You didn't want to cook blood on the side
Will I rest?
I'm still a stable dad
With stable irons cursing
Indian tea will set me free
From this lickin' plate
You were supposed to rot!
Yeah!" |
