Hey it's the weekly Arghoslent/GBK thread!
Somebody said something in some other thread about Gelal/Pogrom being too busy these days. Even though new material was announced earlier this year.
I just want to say I belatedly picked up Arsenal of Glory recently, and it's pretty much a perfect mini-album. I might even prefer it to the actual albums. |

| Not a huge fan of Galloping, but everything else they've done is too God damn good. |

I've been gasping for a new one ever since I had the courage to pull Hornets of the Pogrom off my turntable after two months of listening when I got it. _________________ Death is certain

I did a search before creating this thread so apologies to all the NWN fanboys for creating another useless thread amongst the Katharsis worship, someone farted in Ghost and what you do for a living threads.
Thanks for the info and your musical preferences. _________________

| Crack a West End and put your feet up. Hopefully new material isn't too far off. |

Its my favourite too. Hardly find myself listening any other Arghoslents. Dont know is it cause "Galloping..." sounds so much like GBK, riffwise and the overall sound. _________________ Mors fennico more |

Galloping and Incorrigible are both incredibly well done thrashy death metal with a lot of melody for variation. Those guys can really write great riffs though I found Incorrigible to be a bit more memorable and intense than Galloping through the battleruins. Hornets of the pogrom was ok but I just kind of loss interest the riffs didn't really have the same power as the prior album, but Arghoslent are great all and all. _________________

Hornets is definitely a grower. I think about 6 months ago I would have agreed with you, but now I am inclined to say Hornets might be my favorite. The arrangements are really next level compared to the earlier stuff, and the drumming is totally nuts. _________________ Wants/Trades: http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=275935#275935

| Does anyone have the Vampire Magazine interview with the Hornets-era vocalist saved in some way? Link is dead, and Wayback isn't returning any cached info. |

What would Arghoslent be without Running Wild and slavery?
A Death Metal band. |
