I could even imagine this happening in Berlin. |
Maybe, if:
A) it stays out of sight of the reds
B) gets picked up by a salonfähige gallery
C) Kramer changes his name for this Berlin exhibition
D) A, B and C together

Sounds interesting indeed, though I've got to say I'm not too impressed with Peter Beste's photo's. He's clearly a very good photographer, but maybe not so much for Black Metal.
That book from Kramer indeed sounds interesting.
On a side-note: any chance that some pics will be taken at the art-gallery? I'd like to see some to get an idea of the actual measurements of the coverpaintings you do. |

Dito. I went to his exhibition in Berlin, in a Jewish-owned gallery by the way, and wtf? Oversized photos of Nattefrost, Fenriz, Samoth, and the likes were up for sale at ridiculous prices. Like, you pay 3.000 € for hanging a photo of Nattefrost on your bedroom wall. How retarded is that?! I can't imagine any genuine fan of Black Metal would ever buy any of that (but I could be wrong, of course), so it's most likely hipsters who deem this to be "cool" and who buy a photo of some Norwegian retard dressed in leather and wearing corpsepaint. It's sickening, actually.
Why are hipsters so interested in Black Metal all of a sudden? They don't care for any other sort of Metal music, do they? _________________ Solitary Elitism:

Kramer, this looks great. Congratulations on the gallery feature, this is a big deal. If I wasn't a continent away, I'd stop in. Hails. _________________ Helcaraxë - Epic Heathen Death Metal

Looks interesting - of course I won´t be able to attend.
Most likely the vernissage won´t be the usual slightly boring gallery opening, heh.
I hope some books will be available afterwards.
Concerning Beste: I agree with the opinion stated above.
It should be kept in mind that the clientele for his photographie are not fans and metalheads, most likely not even "urban hipsters" but gallery audience and collectors who are into outsider and fringe art. _________________ Oh, what fun we have when we exist.

Indeed. One could just take an image to kinkos(photo copy shop) and have them print it on large paper
but that would take "effort". I suppose there is no social gratification nor wine and hummus platters at the copy shop. _________________ long live death |

| There will be items from the show available online after the show opens. We're working on something for the books, but the two issues are they are expensive to make and they will all be personalized to the buyer so there are things to work out, but we are going to do something to make them available outside of the gallery. |
