Although 2015 is an ultimate "reissue year" for me, there were undoubtedly plenty new releases worth checking out.

It turns out that almost all new records in 2015 I really got excited about, were black metal (revenge, mgła, cultes des ghoules, akitsa, infernal war, clandestine blaze, etc, etc ) or non-metal stuff whatsoever.

Could anyone recommend me some quality death metal releases of the almost past year? The few names that are comming into my mind are Cruciamentum and Hooded Menace (which is non pure death metal of course). I heard Vorum ep and I kinda liked it. I am aware that there were new albums of old bands like Grave or Hate Eternal, but I'm curious which of the newer death metal bands are you guys listening to these days?

New Death Metal I bought this year:

Mefitic
Perdition Temple
House Of Atreus
Khthoniik Cerviiks
Zom
Offensive
Adversarial

Out of all of them I listened to Perdition Temple the most.

Edit: Just picked up the Pissgrave CD. Definitely blows most of the newer Death Metal I heard in 2015 out of the water. I'll add Ares Kingdom (who I listened to the most) to the list even though I think of them as Thrash/DeathThrash.

This for me. Come to think of it, I think this is one of the only DM albums that really spoke to me. I still need to hear the Cruciamentum though....

I ordered the tape some time ago but completely forgot about this fact in daily turmoil. Need to find it and listen to it finally. The track from soundcloud is truly outstanding.
