Rekindling my affection for Time Does Not Heal made me dig out a few more latter-day thrash metal mastodons that I hadn't heard in years. It's a template that often bordered on the absurd, but that was also part of the charm, so, with that in mind, who won the size game?

Ps. Honourable mentions are more than welcome!

AJFA will dominate this poll.

Also Anthrax was and always will be gay.

Agreed that Anthrax is terrible other than the first album(which is far and away from being technical).

From the list, Sadus, with Watchtower and Coroner as close seconds.

Charlie Bernante was a killer drummer though.

Voted for AJFA.

Anacrusis should be there too. And Mekong Delta - The Music of Erich Zann.

Anthrax's Persistence Of Time is actually pretty good but hardly technical at all. It just has long songs, and you might call it "progressive" (which still would be a stretch) but a band with Scott Ian on guitar will never be remotely technical.
