Just saw the documentary 'The Root of All Evil?' by Richard Dawkins.
Pretty disturbing to see how increasingly ignorant a lot of people are becoming in the world.

Oh yeah, this reminds me how when I was ill I watched a lot of (it must have been 6 hours+ or so) Christopher Hitchens verbally decimating his opponents in debates. Great stuff.

Dawky comes across like he needs a root, but i guess you gotta be blunt with these people.

Finally decided to watch Metallica - Through the Never. Decent concert but with some vague, annoying 'story' in between and during songs.
I'd rather watch the Seattle '89 a dozen times than this crap one more time.

Exactly. Why not just have a concert video with a really high budget instead of some story that doesn't go anywhere and makes no sense. I think it was Lars' collection of child porn in the bag though.

Id seen interviews with Lars and Kirk saying that they couldnt understand why it wasnt received for the 'movie' that it was meant to be and that it only seemed to be Metallica fans that went to see it. When I finally watched it, it was basically Cunning Stunts with some more recent songs and some filler/story... Im not a huge fan but I wouldnt have watched it if it wasnt showing for free on the plane Laughing

GODZILLA (2014)

Met my expectations but could have used less of the "human" drama element.

CONTRACTED (2013)

Independent and minimal but pretty fucked up. The scene at the end where worms and maggots fall out of her snatch is priceless.

The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Surprisingly good movie, not for everyone though. Great cast.

World War Z and Spring Breakers are both movies that are better then i expected them to be.

Rewatched the last season of The Sopranos; so good.

If you mean the increasing number of fat, Mountain Dew sipping Dawkins fanboys who masturbate to My Little Pony fan porn, then yes, stupidity and degeneration is on the rise in the world of today.
