Yeah, I'm a pretty big fan of Bloch but Psycho wasn't necessary his best work so I was never interested in any of the other books he wrote for the series. Psycho II (the book) shits all over Hollywood apparently, and that's why none of the sequels was ever based on it.

That and the twist ending in the book is that Norman Bates actually dies at the beginning and the rest of the book is someone else who is crazy and going on as Norman Bates.

Arizona- This was fun and got a lot darker and more violent than I would have thought. Danny McBride was brilliant as usual, the way he shifted from his typical bumbling idiot to actual psychopath and then shift right back was great. 8/10

Graveyard Shift- A yearly Halloween season rewatch. Never get tired of the foreman going crazy and the creature effects still hold up. In my top 5 Stephen King adaptations. 10/10

Well, Psycho III was everything I fear part II was going to be. It did have some nice visuals though.

I enjoyed Apostle. Sure there were similarities to Wicker Man, but that's one of my all-time favorites, so I can't complain. Better than most netflix offerings.

Higher Power

Picked this up out of boredom from the Wal-martÖ its not the best acted film nor is it anywhere near some kind of cinema mind blower... but the films idea is pretty cool. Its like a different version but far worse similar idea to maybe something like Upgrade (this was the superior film and well done)

There were times I was close to turning it off cause ...well, its bad... but then how many bad films with terrible acting from the 70's I love cause the colors are all grainy and surreal and the content of the story is just cool, so I watched it through and by the end I actually did enjoy the film.

Maybe just don't pay for it hahaha, but give it a go. The idea is pretty cool.

My friend won tickets to a screening of the new Halloween.
Saw it yesterday.
Iím a total horror snob ill admit... but I really was surprised by how good the movie was. Carpenters music really set it off. Solid 8/10.

The trailer looked like garbage but I've seen it's getting decent reviews so I might give it a shot.

22 July about Anders Breivik was quite good.
The guy who plays his lawyer is Fausts victim in LOC.

Will have to see the new Halloween but im not expecting much. Obvious token ghetto actor and countless cringe one liners no doubt.
The original still rules. Rob Zombie can just die.

There's a Norwegian film, UtÝya 22. Juli, which focuses on the perspective of the victims, filmed in one-take, which I have yet to watch.

Just saw Halloween 2018. It's easily in my top 4 of the series. Quite brutal, and had some fun dialogue. The soundtrack was great as expected, and the execution was quite effective overall.
