Just started watching Lost in Space (the series). No idea whether or not this was a good idea, haha.

Well, being an older bastard, I have kinda fond memories of watching the corny as fuck original 1960s TV series (re-run on gloomy Sunday afternoons in the 80s), so that's what I thought you were referring to.

Today, I discover that there's a new 2018 re-make series...surely not a good idea! Let me know how crappy it inevitably is if you can (though I guess anyone not familiar with the original is bound to have a somewhat different outlook).

Mad Foxes;

This movie is about a man whose girlfriend is raped by a nazi biker gang and he is merely beaten up, then a back and forth of insanely gory and overtop revenge getting takes place. Sometime comical, sometimes unsettling all of the time entertaining.

Any of you remember Tales from the Darkside? I remember the movie very well but there was a series too that I vaguely remember from my childhood. Was the series any good? I can get the full thing for relatively cheap but just checking if any of you recall this.

Yes. The show was great. Very Twilight Zone like but a little on the darker (no pun intended) side. I picked up the box set last year.

Definitely buy it. And if you can find it, get Are You Afraid of the Dark: The Complete Series.

^Sweet! Thanks fellas! Also thanks for reminding me of Afraid of the Dark, a Canadian Nickelodeon classic! Still love and remember the “Bozo the Clown” episode. Shivers down my spine! Also, hot piece Elisha Cuthbert was in the show too. <3

Edit; not saying she was a hot piece in the show, but rather she turned into a hot piece when she got older haha

Yes, that show absolutely killed, it was Tales From The Crypt for kids, without gratituous nudity. You mean "Zeebo" the clown?

Just rewatched seasons 1-5 of this last month. Way too much nostalgia. Seasons 6 & 7 are trash though, they're from when they tried to resurrect the show 2 years after it went off-air.

I've been making my way through "Wild Wild Country" on Netflix. Super fucking good 6 part documentary about a crazy ass Indian cult that bought 100 square miles of land in north central Oregon and tried to basically take everything over.

The first episode is good but maybe a little dry in it's set up of the story and the origins of the cult, but once the second one starts and the film makers focus on the Guru's right hand woman who basically runs the whole thing it gets incredible. Stick with it.

Lots of insane stuff, and some great legal and philosophical questions are pondered, towns people are poisoned, the cults hotel is bombed, the cult incorporates into a city and starts arming and training everyone with semi auto rifles preparing for full blown war with the people of Oregon... fucking wild! Hard to believe it's real.

Great movies, take a look at The House That Dripped Blood, a great one too.

I'm watching the 80s Alfred Hitchcock series for the first time, top notch suspense stories, It really makes you feel into the story.
