Finally watching the lord of the rings, special edition blu rays, halfway through fellowship, this is better than I expected.

Majorly into it lately. Bought the lotr burays. Read the hobbit in full again. Working on the lotr books again. Playing shadows of war game on my phone.

Finished fellowship, good stuff.

No! They were keeping him frozen all these years!

Townes Van Zandt is a killer for certain!

Mindhunter is crazy good.

Will never understand what you people see in IT (2017) and The Ghoul. Fucking garbage. Must be a millennial thing.

The Ghoul was actually pretty decent and weird in that mind fuck way that really makes you try and puzzle out what the hell it was supposed to have happening but never really have any definite answers given ...other than its a loop and may or may not be subject to repetition in any given sequence and order over and over again Laughing

Slow burner... not the type of movie that has a catch phrase every second or a explosion when the writers couldn't think of another catch phrase.

Free Fire. Disappointed by this movie. First 15 minutes are good but after that it become boring. Wheatley should make more thriller/horror instead of this garbage.

That Belladonna of Sadness must be pretty good on Blu-Ray!

agree 100%...seemed like a tired Tarentino flick

stuck with it, and wasn't sure why when the credits rolled. High Rise took two viewings, but ended up digging it

Absolutely loved The Ghoul. Can't remember the last time a movie kept me guessing like that. 25 minutes in, I was like "wtf is this? This isn't the movie I signed up for," but I stuck it out and by like 35 minutes in I was totally hooked up.

I checked it out because one of my favorite directors, Ben Wheatley, was the executive producer, and I was definitely not disappointed.

Modern Times is hilarious, even in this day and age.
I had to show it in a Sociology class last semester, to a bunch of 20 year olds who cant get away from their phones for a second.
Half of them enjoyed it, and it got some good laughs out of the crowd. I was surprised!

I watched Spider-man Homecoming and Near Dark the other night. Spider-man was OK, the acting was a little dull, and the dialogue not the best.
Near Dark is great, and really dig Bigelow's directing. But it comes from those times when everything has to blow up, even the kitchen sink, so you have to put up with that sort of action scene. But man, do I miss Bill Paxton already. What a loss.
