Snowtown...I think, I wasted my time.

I randomly watched that a couple weeks ago, the white trash Australian killer movie? Was funny at times, more "gummo"ish then I expected. Not a bad waste of time, but not a great movie by any means.

Yeah - the same one. After the end, I realized it was based on real events, but that doesn't saves it. Most of the scenes were unnecessary extended and bored me to death. Before that I watched "MANIAC"...and still find that slasher brilliant.

Just watched Dust To Glory a few days ago. Same director. It's about the Baja 1000. Really cool.

Thats the one. Some of the acting is a bit suspect and it occasionally has a kind of TV movie feel, but overall its an interesting watch.

Recent VHS scores:
Silent Night, Deadly Night
Altered States
Killer Klowns from Outer Space

Nice triple feature on my day off.

The Conjuring: quite good. One good webrip version with annoying Chinese subs.
Good atmosphere, slightly spooky.

Slightly better than SINISTER and INSIDIOUS which were decent enough.

But in the genre recently it's LA CASA MUDA/THE SILENT HOUSE which has made the strongest impression. Remarkably creepy atmosphere, sequence-shot

Received & viewed the new dvd release of EVILSPEAK from Code Red the other day. Much better picture quality than the former release on Anchor Bay. Definitely worth an upgrade if you're a fan of the film.

Watched The Act of Killing the other day. Amazing and extremely thought-provoking film. Thoroughly recommended. Even these guys say so:

Sette Note in Nero aka Murder to the Tune of Seven Black Notes aka The Seven Notes of Death aka The Psychic.

Only Fulci movie I've seen so far but I hear it's his best. Pretty good giallo, kind of drags for a few scenes but the score and the ending are what make it memorable.

Fulciīs "Donīt Torture a Duckling" is an amazing Giallo as well.
