So, after much delay these things have finally been reissued.
Alkahest
Whited Sepulchres
In the Darkness
Life and Death
They come in "papersleeves". As far as I know they're like those mini LP digipaks the Japanese seem to love. Detaching From Satan was also done like this, but the 2010 reissue is still available, so whatever. No idea if he'll do the experimental albums or not. They probably wouldn't sell. Anyway, you can buy them from Markuee's site or through the eBay account. Picked up the ones I needed yesterday. |

I'll bump this once in hopes of drumming up a little Paul Chain discussion. Doom doesn't get much better than this stuff.
Looking back, it's weird how little doom metal he actually played compared to the ton of avant garde jammy/keyboard stuff he released and still puts out. |

I think pretty much everything he released in the 80s (and maybe a couple in the early 90s, I'd have to check out) is brilliant. One of the best examples of how you don't need to be a Black Sabbath ripoff in order to be "true doom". If only more bands would learn.
I could never get into his most experimental stuff though. |

I guess most of you are already familiar with this artist and his projects, but for those into PC Di Donato/The Black is mandatory stuff:

Interested in trading a dub of Apokalypsimz for a dub of Purpurearagotamiceps?
I want that Balwezo Westijiz–Urkraftens Mystik LP but wanted to get it with the Bekëth Nexëhmü |

Love The Black. Even got my copy of Abbatia Scl. Clementis signed by Mario and Enio. Golgotha is my favourite, even with the interludes. |

Yeah, The Black are exceptional. "Apocalipsis" is my favourite.
Anyway, about PC - must pick up "Alkahest", thus far I've only heard isolated highlights but I like everything I've heard. |

I already have the detaching from satan re-issue jewel case (bonus tracks_) from a few years back - but this was a good deal with free shipping - just a Little scared with the fact this being shipped from Italy -- My only time ever being ripped off from an internet purchase was a order from ITALY (death ss cd's no less!!) - so I just hope this arrives |
I've ordered from Markuee a few times and had no problems, in fact the stuff arrived pretty fast. I haven't really had any problems with receiving stuff from Italian sellers usually.
Also if anyone needs it, I have a sealed copy of the Requiem "The Story 85-92" 2CD for sale, pm if interested. |

| How does ordering straight from markuee.com work? Do you pay upon checkout or do you get a mail with details? Tried placing an order, but something might have gone wrong. |
