this is quite old news actually, ND.
I'm pretty sure though that IF they find out about his label past, he'll probably get ousted in an instant if he hasn't been upfront about it from the beginning. not just for SW.

still, carsten had some excellent bands on his roster and a very reliable mailorder. what a pity he retired and plans to fail in local/regional politics.

Word. His label released some excellent stuff.
I am sure he was not upfront with the ÖDP about his past when he started to run for elections on their behalf, but it won't matter since this political party is meaningless and he won't ever come anywhere near a seat in parliament.
The example of Christoph Dobberstein (Ars Metalli) being the Antifa-Spokesman for DIE LINKE in Berlin-Neukölln is much more controversial (and disgusting):

Yeah how dumb of him to have a political ideal of some sort and try to do something for his country when he could have a much nobler life chit-chatting on MSN all day long and releasing shitty tapes of worthless UG bands that no one gives jackshit about. |

| Carsten totaly quited the label and he sold most of his stock/ records. We still have some contact but he is now into politics more than music. One of the most reliable people in my book and Solistitium did some great releases in the past. |
