Who else loves this band? Like a dirtier Mercyful Fate, and the demo sounds like it was recorded in a dungeon.
The full-length is supposed to be out on Shadow Kingdom this year...any news there?

Amazing band. The demo sounds OLD, and the split is great too. One of the members told me recently that the album will probably be out in the middle of next year.
The Doomed Beast demo is also great, and should appeal to people who like DG. |

| amazing band. I love how they have a feel for when sparse instrumentation is appropriate. I hope that translates onto the album. |

I thought this was about the Candlemass song (from one of the greatest metal albums of all time)... bummer.
I'll check out the link anyway, as the "dirtier Mercyful Fate" description caught my attention. |

Side A on the demo MLP is outstanding, hopefully the full-length will be more in that style. _________________ http://www.UnbornProductions.com

I love their demo! It manages to catch that early 80's raw doom/heavy metal sound keeping things simple and classy without coming off soundling like it is 'trying' to sound that way, it just is that way. Looking forward to hearing more. Hopefully if they go into a more pro-studio they wont destroy the magic. _________________ "...that magnificent deer has vanished." |

I like both Demons Gate and Doomed Beast from what i've heard. Haven't got the demos just yet though. More brilliance from Abysmal. _________________ "If noise means uncomfortable sound. Then pop is noise to me" - Masami Akita. |

don't forget Johnny Touch. Another great band along those lines from Oz also on Abysmal, this one with a heavy Stained Class-era Priest feel and a few of the guys from Stargazer involved. _________________ I was a brazen prince and cold, now a king on an oaken throne |

| I've finally got the demo on its way to me. I've had a couple songs on the laptop for ages, can't wait to give the whole thing a spin! And yes, Doomed Beast are also great. |

Looks like they are aiming for finishing the full-length up about April 2011. Halfway through recording right now. _________________ Great traders/sellers: GoldenBull, Ivan the terrible, OA, LifeDepraved, maranatha, newincident, 61514, Korpinen, NuclearGoatVomit, global deathrape, s. charlach, madcow, xyosefx, goatcaft, Blutkvlt, Ironwood, Unholy Horde, Wolfsturm888, Pinhas |
