It would be great to see remastering for Niden Div. 187

I have the LP/EP compilation and the mastering is some of the worst I've ever heard.

Would seem to be the perfect project for a label like SSP. The mastering on the LP/EP is abhorrent and grates my ears in a bad way. I'd like to be able to crank this stuff full blast and get more than just bass.

I haven't seen this comp in distro lists for quite awhile, I suppose it would be a good time for a reissue. One reissue I'd definitely buy if remastered.

2 of the best BM albums EVER (yeah I know TJ is an ep, but still). These should get a The Crypt-like treatment. They are THAT good.

I agree, but I think SSP would be the perfect fit.

Do you have the originals? Is the mastering horrible on those as well?

Yep, but I don't own the compilation cd so I don't have anything to compare them to.

Niden Div.187 is the soundtrack to global genocide. Totally underrated band.

The sound on the compilation is extremely tinny and all bass. The whole thing is just a muddy mess. I know we're talking about black metal here, but it doesn't work at all.

The only thing that compares is Zyklon-B - Blood Must be Shed.

These pieces are best experienced with some good headphones anyway. And yeah, the sound is sort of tinny and bassy but like I said it sounds way better with headphones rather than blasting in the stereo.

Yes, and even better imo.

having the original CDs is enought...for me
mixing on those still is good.

and surely their two releases aren't among the best BM. TJ is great, yeah (black water!!!), but a new mixed release???

Great stuff, love to see a vinyl reissue. SSP or The CRYPT would be GREAT.

CD doesn't need remastering. Sounds just fine to my ears. Great album.
