We figured doing this fest during the week-end of Thanksgiving might be easier since you already have days off from work, but we'd like to know what are your thoughts about this. Does that make it easier for you to travel up North, harder, or no difference at all?? |
I didn't go, but I have two friends that did attend and the only reason they were able to do it was because of the Thanksgiving holiday/long weekend. It's definitely a good move to encourage more people to head up there. |

My friends from Kansas said the same thing. Definitely a cool time of the year, it's not so cold for the Americans too!
And yeah, Seth and DNS's sets weren't longer than Revenge... _________________ http://metantoinemagicalrealm.blogspot.ca |

It made quite a big difference. My girlfriend and I were granted time off from work and college for the holiday. We couldn't have gone otherwise.
If Mgla gets to play in Canada sometime next year, would it be possible to have Kriegsmaschine play the show as well? It would be quite a treat. The two bands share members as well... |

It was actually the reason about 5 of us from NYC could not go. The lineup was great but as soon as we realized that day 1 was Thanksgiving day it made it nearly impossible with commitments to family/wives/girlfriends. If the fest was FRI-SUN that could have been do-able for us. |

I know I'm kind of late, but here are some photos:
ARCHGOAT at the Katacombes
Vermin, REVENGE
Tim, session for REVENGE
BLACK WITCHERY
A pretty strange drunken photo, with some evil gentlemen!

| Annick always manage to make the most metal poses in pictures eheh. Also, that Archgoat picture has a massive flash, it's quite intense ! |

Haha that was at the third night's afterparty. I was beyond wasted at that point! Took me days to recover.
Yeah it was a strobe light for Archgoat - and I took the photo at the same time. All my other photos didn't have enough light unfortunately! _________________ Cauchemar - Heavy/Doom metal: http://www.facebook.com/cauchemarmetal

Any advice on getting across the US/Canadian border with a dodgy police record?
I have heard too many horror stories of the Canadian border stations turning away people for petite convictions and yet I see some (whom I know have records) seem to get through...is it just a turn of the dice? _________________ long live death |

I don't know if it is the same in the U.S.A but here in Canada you got to have have a clean criminal record to cross the border. If you've done something criminal in the past you can ask for a waiver and that will clear your criminal record. |
